Between the 28th January 28th and 14th February, Porto San Rocco and the whole of the Trieste Gulf area were subject to the most extreme weather conditions in 50 years. For 15 days, the Bora wind blew constantly, never going below 100 km/h (53 Knots), and often rising above 150 km/h (81 Knots), maxing at 183km/h (98 knots).
