Most yacht services are available on-site at Port Louis Marina, provided by the marina tenants or local shipyard services:
On the south coast of Grenada there are technical services and facilities provided by Spice Island Marine and Grenada Marine. There are also agents at the marina to help with any yacht service requirements, including provisioning and transport.
Electricity and water are available 24 hours a day on the pontoons and are chargeable through a metered point. Please contact the Capitainerie.
Port Louis Marina offers a facility for the emptying of holding tanks. Please do not empty grey or black water tanks into the marina; please ask at the Capitainerie if you wish to make use of this service.
In line with local regulations, yachts arriving from outside Grenada or Carriacou will need to clear in with Customs and Immigration at a port of entry. Port Louis Marina has several very local Ports of Entry and the marina team will be more than happy to help assist and direct you:
Customs Regulations in Grenada
Inward clearance must be completed by the captain before any crew member lands. Four copies of the crew list/clearance form are required; these can be completed in advance.
Outward clearance is also required from Grenada to ensure inward clearance in the next country to be visited. Yachts should depart within 24 hours of clearing out.
The Grenada Customs and Immigration offices are open Monday to Friday from 0800 to 1145 and 1300 to 1600, and from 0800 to 1330 at the weekend.
The approach to Port Louis Marina and St George’s is straightforward in all weathers. The buoyed marina fairway is lit and easy to identify, day and night, making it very easy to safely find your marina slip.
Don't forget! Grenada uses the American system (“Red Right Returning”) so red buoys mark the starboard side of the channel on your arrival.

Please pay special attention to commercial traffic when entering or leaving Port Louis Marina. It is important for yachtsmen to keep a good watch, especially along the Carenage waterfront in St George’s itself.
On approach to the marina, call the Capitainerie on Channel 14 for instruction on your marina slip.
Please note: vessels intending to berth in the Port of St. George must follow Port regulations, which state a mandatory requirement for all vessels of 200 gross tons and above to have a pilot from Grenada Ports Authority on board upon entering and leaving the Port of St. George. Pilots require 24 hours notice in advance of the vessel's arrival and 3 hours in advance of the vessel's departure.
